It is really crazy, people complain there are no jobs, however most companies can't actually find the people they need!
We just finished recruitment for salespeople, we invited to interview 200 candidates, but only about 50 appeared,
from this 50candidates about 2/3 rd thought that a sales job is sitting in the office and looking at the computer screen. finally we manage to have 3 people.
There are jobs available everywhere, but no committed people available. It feels like most people just think that working means appearing in the work place - and that's it. 60% of job seekers don't even bother to attend the interview. Do they expect that companies should come knocking on their doors to offer jobs?
About half of job seekers who apply for jobs don't have any qualifications -a guy who studied biology applies for marketing and who studied IT applies for accountant.
It looks like it is wrong already when young people choose what to study, they choose the study not because they have career goal or objective, they choose what is easier to pass , just to have some diploma , regardless of specialty!
The system creates more and more young people with diplomas - and education which are not really needed in current economy, and companies can't really find people whom they need!
Result - Lot of young people who don't know what to do - and companies who don't have competent resources to grow!
